Our Story

West Virginia’s first curling session took place on December 21st, 2019. The first of many sessions focused to teach the basics of the sport to newcomers: stone delivery, terminology, game rules, and etiquette. These sessions are designed to get people excited about curling. In 2026 in partnership with BOPARC (Morgantown's Board of Parks and Recreation) our first curling league became a reality. We're slowly building our membership, and with continued excitement and participation from locals, Morgantown Curling Club hopes to sweep the BOPARC ice for years to come.

How to Help

Morgantown Curling Club was founded through the generosity of our community. These initial donations allowed us to rent the essential equipment to introduce beginners to the ice. Our long-term goal is to purchase our own dedicated stones and equipment to ensure the sport thrives in West Virginia for generations to come.
